The Beaunvoliant family hails from the once-glorious kingdom of Brestia. Their names were by no means very well known, as their social standing was forever wedged between those affluent businessmen and socialites and the middle class. In a sense, they belonged to a class of people who were wealthy enough to be considered wealthy enough, but not wealthy enough to be considered wealthy. Following the brutal Three-Year War and Brestia's untimely defeat by the hands of Vespanola, the family continued to stay afloat amidst the country's oppression and dying economy. Although they continued living a semi-idyllic life, it was only a matter of time when the latest generation began to feel discontent.

THE MAJOR PLAYERS

Peregrine Beaunvoliant // Fighter // Female // 24 years old


First enamored with the art of fighting at the age of thirteen, after she witnessed her father, an ex-army captain, defeat a challenger in a duel using a rapier. Being more inclined to male pastimes than other girls of her social standing, she is often seen as a sort of black sheep of the family, causing more than enough friction with her stoic father, and she constantly strives to seek approval from him (and fails). She eventually attended a military-sponsored school away from her hometown, and after graduating she went to war at 20 without notifying her parents.

Currently she is residing with her siblings, Valerius and Aedelia in the city of Auch in the recently-discovered continent of Granado Espada. She serves as a stern leader in their family's affairs in the New World.

Valerius Beaunvoliant // Musketeer // Male // 21 years old


The only son in their family of three, and considered by others to be both most attractive and most eccentric. His childhood would have been like any other if he did not prefer reading books and playing the violin over interacting with human beings in most cases, and did not follow his sister to war in his teens. He excels in all academic matters and graduated from school earlier than most, and what he lacks in verbal communication he makes up for in cattiness and general difficulty to get along with.

However, in contrast, he is easily flustered concerning specific matters and his attachment to firearms borders on obsession. Some of his eccentricities include an overwhelming inclination to sweets, a ridiculous talent for cooking, and his footwear consisting of knee-high black boots.

Aedelia Beaunvoliant // Scout // Female // 16 years old

With a gentle disposition and sweet mannerisms, Aedelia could have been the perfect daughter to a perfect, good-standing family. Her overwhelming compassion, however, led her to cut her schooling at Brestia short to traverse with her older siblings to Granado Espada. She is a sort of bridge between her siblings and her parents, as she stays the one with the most favorable opinion cast upon her.

Although she is young and a bit of an idealist, she is in no way disconnected from the real world, and striver to help others by means of her training in the healing arts. She is a ballerina, and after some time settling down in Granado Espada she has since continued her schooling.
