Thanatos is walking around, mainly because he's bored. He sees Sandalphon.

Finally, someone to talk to!

He walkes over.

Startled, he looks up, not expecting to be approached, but at the sight of a familiar person a shy smile creeps its way onto his face.

Ah, it's you! Hello!

He shifts slightly and pulls the bread out of reach of the crow, who pecked his sleeve in reply.

It's been a while since we've last met. Thanatos, wasn't it?

Thanatos nods, grinning.

Yeah, but you can call me Thana. So how've you been? What are you doing out here alone? And on such an unfriendly day too.

From:

Sandalphon smiles back at him and waves the crow away.

Well, as you can see- He motions to the crow.
I'm not exactly 'alone' in a sense.

The crow, which clearly did not appreciate being rejected, flew up and gave Sandalphon's brow a light peck. He made a small noise and stood up, brushing his bangs away from his face and allowing his glasses to fall to the ground.

The crow, seizing its opportunity, quickly snatched the thin wire-frame glasses in its beak and flew some yards away, pecking to check if it was in any way edible.

Ack- Oh my. That was rather-erm-embarrassing wasn't it, aha-

[DEFAULT PAIIIIIIR.]

(Muffled in a scarf, with his hands shoved deep into his pockets, walking down the street. He's muttering to his companion.)

--So Rani says, I managed to cut a deal with both gunsellers, we need an extra room, do you mind moving in with Lane so Raye and Nissa can have one. I don't really mind--we end up sleeping on the couch too often anyway--although I'm not sure what the neighbours will think if they find out we have a man and a woman sleeping in the same room. Do you think Rani might be able to persuade Kayze to share hers?

(Half-draped over Rue's shoulders, doing a little shuffle every few steps to make patterns in the snow. He's sort of smiling.)

Mmhmm.

Wait, Kayze, share? No WAY.

(deadpan) Right, because Lune will say she--

From:

(together)--NEEDS THE SPACE.

(Lane snickers.)

From:

Um. What the.

(There's a crow hopping down a low fence-wall. He waves one hand at it and it drops something, flies up, and is gone.)

Heh, crows.

...Wait, what's that?

[Should they know either Sandy or Thana?]

[Well they haven't met officially yet XD]

He huffed and made a small frown. If he didn't get his glasses back now, who knows what the crows would do to it, and he didn't really need the things but he'd much prefer if he had them on.

He turned to Thanatos.

Er, Thanato... Thana. Would you excuse me for a minute?

Breaking into a run to reclaim his glasses before the crow could think of flying off with it, he didn't notice the pair walking along the road until he practically collided with the fighter's side.

I'm so sorry! I'm so sorry and-ah my glasses- I'm sorry I didn't see you two!

(Sidestepping, nearly slips in the snow. He murmurs something not-quite-audible.)

(Falls flat on his butt, and looks vaguely miffed--Rue is snickering quietly--for a while before looking at Sandy and smiling.)

Oh hey, you all right?

Wincing as he watches Sandalphon crash into the two men, he decides he should probably go help out. He sighs quietly, and makes his way over. He holds his hand out to the fallen one, with a bit of cocky smirk.

You can't be very comfortable down there. Need a hand?

He panicked inwardly. He was rather tired, and the crows were being annoying, and his glasses had been stolen and he had gotten pecked in the head and now he had bumped into someone and made them fall-

I-

He took a deep breath, and addressing both Thanatos and the two strangers:

I'm really really sorry, I'm really just causing tr- (he shivered) ouble out here, aren't I? Sirs, I do apologize, so so so much- and- ah

He fiddled with the ribbon at his neck, not knowing what else to say.

(Grabs it and hauls himself up gratefully. There's a wet patch spreading on the back of his coat.

No problem.

He pats Sandalphon on the shoulder.

Honest mistake. I'm sure the gentlemen here will forgive you, won't good fellows? Why don't we all go somewhere... warmer. Though I rather like the cold myself, heh.

It should be noted that Thanatos is dressed rather lightly for the current weather, wearing only a rather thin coat over a his shirt, and no scarfs or gloves.

I'm Thanatos, by the way.

Sandalphon clutched at the ribbon a little tighter, feeling their irritation at being interrupted glide over him. Wordlessly, keeping his eyes to the floor, he walks over to the place where the crow dropped his glasses and picks them up.

He sighs, brushing the snow off of them and shivering again. He felt like an idiot.

I think I should.. Get going.

[really im leaving in a while hahaha, you guys continue when im gone]

Thanatos frowns.

Those aren't broken, I hope. Your glasses, I mean. And that your forehead doesn't hurt too much. Stupid crow. Anyway. Leaving already? Well, here.

He takes off his coat and holds it out to Sandalphon.

Looks like you need it more than I do. You can give it back next time.

He smiles amiably. Take care.

Ah, no, they aren't...

He smiles slightly, putting his glasses on again. He gives a short nod and drapes the coat around his shoulders.

Thank you. I promise I'll give it back next time I see you.

He turns to the two men he bumped into, and bows to them.

I'm so, so sorry again... I hope you'll forgive me. Excuse me now, I must be off-

He runs off, flushed.

(watches him go, looking mildly confused)

[Chances for misunderstanding? They were pretty annoyed with other matters before, so Sandy might be picking up on that to think they're angrier at him than they actually are.

SANDY IS A DISNEY PRINCESS Y/N?]

(pats down his coat)

Oh hi, I'm Lane. (he waves, rather vaguely) My partner, Rue.

Must be nice to not feel the cold. Sometimes I swear we're going to freeze in our sleep.(grin)

[LOL I FAIL AT RP. IT TAKES ME SO LONG TO COME UP WITH RESPONSES.]

Nice to meet you both. The one who, uh, left was Sandalphon. He's a bit shy, but he's a nice guy.

Are you guys busy or something? I know a pub near here that's open even at this hour. Not the best place you can find, but its clean and warm. Walking around with a wet coat won't do you any good. But if you had other plans...

[Ahahaha... if this is really going to be their first meeting... the RULES! xD, or we could just make this a 'passing by moment' and therefor not count?]

Well... (He looks at Rue, who shrugs.) Not really, no, we were just walking. Pub sounds great!

As she walked the streets of Reboldoeux, passer-by's could hear her grumbling something about lost, irresponsible brothers as huffs of her breath smoked from her lips. She then spots Thanatos casually guiding two strangers into a bar they sometimes frequented.

There you are, you son of a...

In a few quick steps, she has Thanatos' ear within reach, and has no qualms about twisting it a little.

I'm hungry, and I'm tired, so you better have a good excuse for disappearing and making me come out after you and --- where's your coat?

Thanatos winces as his ear is pulled, but is otherwise unfazed.

I was bored. I gave my coat to Sandy. And this is Lane and Rue. *he gestures at them* Fellows, this is my angel of a sister. Ow-- you don't need to twist that hard! Anyway, we were just gonna grab a few drinks to warm up, and now that you mention it, its time for lunch. Why don't you join us for a bite?
